Permaculture Design Course

Calling all students, farmers, architects, engineers, educators, artists, landscapers and designers! Create a better world. Become a permaculture designer. Culture Brothers offer one-on-one, small group and online permaculture instruction for people interested in earning a Permaculture Design Certificate. We can work with your schedule and budget to deliver permaculture education tailored to your life. Our demonstration sites and surrounding communities become settings for learning and creative action. You will gain timeless knowledge and hands-on experience in: Good planning and design (for landscapes, whole villages, social groups or anything else you might conceive) Earth care (including sustainable and appropriate agriculture, rehabilitation of degraded land and more) Water care (catchment, storage, irrigation, purification and infiltration) Bioremediation (of wastes and toxins) Earthen and natural building techniques Wild-crafting and fermentation Appropriate technologies (for energy conservation and generation) Alternatives to rampant systems Consensus process We teach permaculture by the book. We recommend access to Mollison's Permaculture A Designer's Manual. Culture Brothers has a copy or two that can be borrowed on a first come basis, though this is a useful and remarkable book to own (despite its many typos). Participants completing the course will receive their Permaculture Designer's Certificate. Tuition is $850, with half due up front and half due half-way through your course. Click Here to see The Course Outline Click Here to Register for a PDC About the Course Facilitators CHRIS RICCI earned his B.A. in Mathematics at Colorado College, and received his permaculture training from Penny Livingston and Starhawk through the Permaculture Institute of Northern California. He taught permaculture throughout the U.S. and southern and eastern Africa before settling in at Majesty Mushrooms. He is a passionate mycologist, farmer, teacher, musician, and father. Chris is the director of Culture Brothers.
